Well, there is one blog that is on my front iGoogle page that is really FUNNY. I laugh out loud in my head every time I read it. Well, there's a FREE GIVE-AWAY on it. So, not only for the free bow but for the funny-ness, check it out. Check, Check, Check it out!!

Something a little Fishy
A fish design has been on my mind for a while. It wasn't until someone asked for one that I actually made it. The designs in my head were geared more for boys since I don't have that many boy designs and, well, mainly boys like to fish. When Alexi Vrabel asked for a girl fish, I was pumped. Yes, literally pumped. Excited. Thrilled. I could give the fish big lips. Big ol' fat juicy pink lips. (Inspiration from a Kasey Hope painting) I could not do that with the boy design. What 5 month old boy wants to wear a fish on his shirt that has big pink lips. None that I know of.
I started as soon as I got home from the beach. (Which is probably where all the cuteness of this shirt comes from, because the beach makes me so ridiculously happy. It just spilled over into my fleece sewing.) Anyway. It took me a whole disc of Friends episodes to finish it (with one break to eat dairy-free Peanut Butter Zig-Zag ice cream--delish.) I am not kidding when I say the first time I do a design it takes me FOREVER. I cut and re-cut, tweak and re-tweak, sew and re-sew. It's crazy. Because of my hard manual labor, I really am happy with how this fish turned out. Oh, and the best part... I already had a label sewn that matched the outfit perfectly. hallerlulur.

"nothing contributes so much to tranquillize the mind as a steady purpose"
Frankenstein!!!
So, my title is a Frankenstein quote. Yes, I had to google it. But I am loving this design, and I kept wanting to say "Arrrrggghhh" about this one, but it's not a pirate. It's Frankenstein and I know no noises that Frankenstein makes. I feel like a failure. Well, I would, except for the fact that I LOVE Mr. Stein here. Yay for a boy design!!!.
I had my first call from someone I don't know. My phone rang, I didn't know the number, I screened the call. I do that. All the time. If I don't know you, I don't answer. Leave a message. I have a slight problem with random, weird people (particularly the opposite sex) getting my number without my permission and then using it without my permission. So, I screen. Back to the point. It was someone who had seen my clothes at the Coffee Loft and wanted one in different colors and different size than what was there. Wooo-hooo. So, this is what she wanted. (I hope) I think it came out really girly and feminine. The buttons are vintage from my Mimi's collection.
Can I say that I am so excited about how this one turned out without seeming too braggy? I LOVE THIS ONE!! It really came out a lot cuter than I had originally planned. I was just going to do an apple with monogram, which I still plan on doing, but then I saw something at the fabric store today that gave me this idea. I love when something in my head turns out as cute as I want it to. That doesn't happen very often. Most of the time things are so much cuter in my head than in real life. I really should work on that.
I do have to say that I have had a really awesome week with my stuff. I had three orders in one day. And I had a few deposits into my account. woot woot. But the real reason I say this isn't to brag on myself (not this time) :^) but to say that I have an unbelievably awesomely wonderful God. He gives me everything I need. When I need it.
p.s. My braggy stuff stems off an Office quote. Actually most of my funny stuff comes from The Office.

Flowers, Puppies, and Ice Cream
This shirt was done for one of my most favorite little girls ever! Miss Kloe Hope. I will have to post a picture of her when I get one because everything just looks so much cuter when she's wearing it!
Here's a close up of my tags... I sew each one of these by hands, too. I use different fabric and thread color each time, too. Sometimes I make it match the shirt exactly, other times I like it to be completely random and unmatchy. I guess it just depends on my mood. But for Kloe's shirt, I think it needed to go along with the rest of the shirt.
I made this shirt for a precious and adorable Leah. It is the first dog I had done, so it took me FOREVER. The first one of anything always takes me forever. If something is a centimeter off, I cut until it is just how I want it. Well, I went to send her an e-mail that it was finished and realized she wanted it on a light pink or purple shirt.... UGH!!! What?? I didn't even double check before I started sewing? Nope, it was in my head she wanted a white shirt, so white it was. I transferred the puppy dog to a pink shirt and I think it turned out so much cuter.
Yeah, Yeah. What do you think? Oh, and I was able to add the whisker spots I had left off the first time, so it all worked out I guess. (I'm also working on Leah a Halloween Costume, I'll have to post about that later. Like when I actually start working on it)
And I took a picture of the dog without the bow because I think he would be adorable for a little boy. (And it gives me more boy designs) :^)
AND.... A NEW DESIGN!
On a whim I made an Icecream Cone shirt. The fabric is sewn on top of fleece and it's sewn so when it is washed the fabric will fray a little and show the fleece underneath. I was going to wash and dry it before I took pictures, but I went to the washer and there was stuff in it, so, yeah, that didn't happen. But still, cute, right?? I'm loving the fabric underneath the fleece, too. I'm going to have to come up with more ideas with that. I have been meaning for like a month now to make a little girls shirt of a bird house, but I still haven't done it. This week, I'm doing it. Remind me if I don't. Because it will be so stinkin' cute if I actually do it. I will. I promise.

Sisterly Love
I made these for my cousin's friend's little girls. They are on a 2t and a 9m shirt. The letters turned out a LOT cuter than I thought they would, but they are very time consuming. So, I will have to price letters a little higher than the normal onesies. I can't wait to see these on the little ones! I'll post pictures as soon as I get them.

Three New Designs
I really don't have too much to say, but I do have pictures to post!!
A Rocket
Little fabric birds with Ruffle heiney

Absolutely loving this one, but I have to throw it in the washer and dryer to make sure the fabric does what I want it to. If not, it's a bust and I won't do the ruffles anymore.
Witch's Feet
I don't have a shirt to sew these onto yet, but I think they are absolutely adorable for Halloween. Let me know if you can think of anymore holiday ideas.
